Enrollment – School enrollment will begin Wednesday, August 5, in both buildings running from 1 pm to 8 pm. Thursday, August 6, enrollment will be 8 am-2 pm in both buildings. The high school has an additional day of enrollment on Friday, August 7, for new students to the high school and virtual students. Should you want to enroll online, the directions can be found on the website in the Live Feed section. A current email must be used on all students. The email address is used to provide you a password to enroll your students. Here’s to hoping everyone has a smooth enrollment procedure!
Preschool Information – Preschool will attendance will be established based on residency. Yates Center City students will attend the morning session, and rural students will attend the afternoon session. If a parent would like to request a switch to the other session, this request can be made by contacting the elementary office. Requests will only be granted if it improves the balance of the morning or afternoon sessions.
Parents/Guardians: You WILL need to stop by during enrollment to fill out health forms that are required to be on file even if you have completed your child’s registration process online. These forms were not included in the online registration process. Enrollment times are Wed. Aug. 5th – 1:00-8:00 & Thurs., Aug. 6th 8:00-4:00.
Reminder: You must have a completed Pre-Participation Physical Form With You To Get Your Physical!
Parents/Guardians~This is for Returning Students ONLY~ If you did not receive a snapcode email for your returning student send your email address to tohare@usd366.net or astoner@usd366.net to have that info added and you will be able to go through the registration process online! If you do not currently have an email address we will get your student enrolled during enrollment.
Seniors: Sign up sheet for Senior Reserved Parking will be held during enrollment. Cost is $10.00 or $20.00 to for one of the front row spots drawing.
Any High School student that checked out a Chrome Book needs to please return them during enrollment. Please make sure that you also return the charger.
Parents/Guardians!! Online enrollment information is being sent to all parents/guardians with a current email address on file in PowerSchool. New students(not previously enrolled) will be able to access the link that will follow this message. EVERYONE will need to create a parent enrollment account. This is different than your PowerSchool account. If you have a returning student & did not receive an email you will need to come to the school during enrollment. We have found a small glitch that happens randomly. If the word Parents auto-populates in the Other Parent/Guardian field & this DOES NOT apply to your family just delete the word & go on. If it does apply simply fill in the remaining blanks & proceed.

High School Students: All High School students will need a backpack or book bag to carry their personal belongings and computer during the school day. Lockers will not be assigned or used at the start of the school year. We also want to encourage each student to bring their own water bottle to be filled at the water bottle fill stations.
89,994 Meals! WOW!! This could not of been done without the close coordination between Shelley Davis, John Rice, and Dr. Pegram. The food service staff, paras, teachers, bus drivers, and riders all gave up their summers off to provide meals to our Woodson County kids. These staff members went above and beyond to make this happen. The District Thanks you for All Your Hard Work, Time, and Dedication. You are appreciated more than you will ever know. K-State Research and Extension Office from Southwind District will be having a series of 4 classes for adults with children in their homes at Yates Center Bressner Hall and the Toronto Senior Center. Starting August 4th in Yates Center and August 5th in Toronto.

Something a little different for YCHS Kays. YCHS Kay officers attend a virtual Kay Leadership Conference Monday through Wednesday. Those attending Allie Chrisman, Hannah Jones, Carter Burton, Liberty Cavender and Madelyn Proper. Those attending from home not pictured were Ayla VanPatten and Addison Solander. Kay sponsor Tasha Steele also attended. Kays is about community and school activities though things may look different for the club this year they will still serve the community and school.
The SBOE failed to approve Governor Kelly's executive order on a 5-5 vote. As of now, USD 366 will begin the school year starting August 10 with professional development, and students beginning August 13. The district's reopening plan will be shared with the community sometime next week now that we have direction as to when school will start.
