3rd and 4th graders celebrated Kansas Kids Fitness Day with a hike on the Lehigh Portland trails in Iola, KS.
Junior High Track competes in the TRL Meet for their final competition of the year.

Today is SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY!!!!
We join schools across the country who are recognizing the difference these team members make for every child who comes through their cafeteria. In our district we are very fortunate we have such dedicated staff, Carol Karmann, Jamin Hess, Mandy Steele, Dusty Leis, Erica Dick, Amber Barney, Glenda McNutt, Leslie Stout , and Valerie Walker. You not only prepare, feed, do dishes two times a day but you also show your kindness, friendship, offer smiles, and hugs to our students as well as going the extra mile whenever you are asked. Today is your day!!!!

Busy day ahead! Junior High Track heads to Eureka, while High school Track heads to Neodesha. High School Baseball makes the trip to Marmaton Valley. High School Softball's game in St Paul has been cancelled.

New plans! Due to poor field conditions in Neodesha, Yates Center Baseball and Softball will now be hosting the games tonight. Doubleheader starting at 4:30.
Friday, May 2 come see the works of our Art Department in a Student show from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

PROM UPDATE!! Because of the chance of rain, the grand march will change. The following is the plan: Students will line up in their cars in front of the post office facing south on Main. They will turn west on Butler, turn south on State and turn east on Rutledge. They will unload at the intersection of Rutledge and Main. We will have a tent to keep everyone as dry as possible! Please feel free to park around the square to get pictures and watch the event! Thank you for your patience as we try to make this as special for our students as possible.
Grand March will start at 7:00 pm Saturday, April 26 at Yates Center Town Square. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the youth all dressed up
