Both third grade classes came together and did a project-based learning unit to create their own town. As a whole, they had to decide wants and needs for a town and then partners constructed a building. Some building include a hospital, police and fire station, grocery store, NAPA, a coffee shop, and a shopping mall.

The 7th grade had an awesome time yesterday in Topeka. With stops at the Combat Air Museum, Kansas National Guard Museum, and the Capital, the students got to experience many things they have been learning about in class and learned some new things. Some of the highlights were seeing Medals of Honor earned by Kansans and climbing to the top of the Capital dome. Ask a 7th grader to see pictures and they would love to show you their trip experiences!! Thank you to Mrs. Wiley and Miss Shaffer for accompanying the group and Bridget for getting us there and back safely!! Also, a big thank you to JJ Edwards and State Farm for sponsoring our students to get into the Combat Air Museum!!
