Several of our students were able to attend the Shrine Bowl Band Camp this week thanks to sponsorships by the local Masonic Lodge & The Eastern Star. Masons attending are Dan Edwards, Don. Barney & Pete Martin!! Congratulations to all the students attending as well as Mrs. Linda Evans for preparing them!!

YC band students are experiencing Masonic Band Camp at Emporia State University. They will perform on Friday (6/28) evening and Saturday (6/29) morning at the parade and then Saturday evening at the Shrine Bowl football game. Thank you to the many supporters of the band.




At the Masons Fish Fry, OPT was presented $2,000 from the local Masons, $500 from the Local Eastern Star, and $1,000 from Oh Yeah! to pay for headphones for K through 6th.

These 11 students are heading to Emporia for the week long band camp. They will end their week with the parade and football game performances on Saturday.

The YCHS cheer squad spent 4 days at UCA camp at Butler Community College. They learned new stunts, cheers, chants, and dances. They earned second place in Spirit Routine and second place in Camp Routine. We also brought home the tradition award for the second consecutive year! Great job ladies!



The Woodson County kiddos are enjoying their meals!!
