Activities for the week ahead!
The 7th graders have started studying Kansas History this semester. We've had a great first month as we celebrate 164 years of statehood this month. They have learned about the eleven physical regions, Nancy Kelley came and talked about ghost towns of Woodson County, and today, we toured the Woodson County Courthouse to see how our local government is set up and met people who do various jobs within our government system.
Varsity Scholars Bowl played eleven tough rounds and earned a first place win at League. The JV played seven rounds and was second place in the Junior Varsity category.
