The junior high football team finished their year with a 44-42 loss. This group worked very hard all summer and all season. Very proud to have watched them grow together.

CORRECTION to the announcement about YCMS boys and girls basketball practice starting next Monday, October 16th. Boys will practice at the elementary school and will be bussed there from the HS. Girls will practice in the old gym at the high school. There will be an activity bus available. Sorry for the confusion! YCMS boys and girls basketball practice will start next Monday, October 16th. It will be at the elementary school. 7th and 8th grade will have transportation provided to the elementary gym. They will load on a bus on the north side of the high school gym after school. If you have any questions contact the office.

The 5th graders in Mrs. Estes’ Reading Class did a Book Project for Quarter 1. First, they read a book at their lexile level. Then, they wrote a paper comparing and contrasting themselves to the main character in their book. Finally, they created a diorama of the setting from their book!
