3rd graders attended the water festival today, where volunteers did several activities talking about the importance of land, water, and soil conservation. Students got to see different animals, tree seeds and leaves, do demonstrations to learn about adhesion and cohesion, “travel” like a water molecule, and even see some native Kansas fish.
