Eighth Grade Virtual Field Trip
Tomorrow, March 5th, the eighth grade will participate in a virtual field trip covering World War II. The virtual field trip will take place at the high school along with the sophomore class. Students will eat lunch at the high school and be dismissed from the high school at 3:30. If you are picking up your student from the high school, please make arrangements as to where you will meet them.

We are asking parents to schedule a time to visit with a teacher(s) that you feel you need to visit. Times are scheduled for 10-minute sessions with the teachers of your choosing. If you have a student not doing well in a class, the teacher of that class will attempt to contact you.
To schedule an appointment, please call or email tohare@usd366.net or amcconaghie@usd366.net with a working phone number and the name of the teacher(s) and the time you would like to receive a call. If there is a conflict with that time, like the time is already taken, you will be contacted with a time close to the time requested to see if that time will work for you.

The online book fair continues. Please look over the books and order as many as you want. All orders are shipped free to the school. There are selections for all ages Preschool through Young Adult.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Jostens will be here on Friday, March 12th at 2:15, to deliver Graduation Announcements, help with Letter Jackets, Class Rings, or Graduation Orders. You can get sized for a jacket, bring a class ring to be resized that doesn’t fit, get help with ordering a ring, and if you are a Senior and you haven’t ordered your cap and gown yet, well then you better see Jostens on Friday.

No School March 3rd
Due to district employees taking their second vaccine on March 2nd, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, March 3rd. The decision not to have school is a precaution of not knowing what reactions the employees will have to the second vaccine and whether we would have the staffing to conduct school. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Covid-19 Update - For the week of March 1, the Woodson School District will remain in its Green Phase. Don't forget, there will be no school in the Woodson School District on Wednesday, March 3rd.
