COVID Update, January 27, 2021-The school district has moved back into its yellow phase with Tuesday's report of only five COVID cases in the county. The schools will stay in the green or yellow phase if there are less than 10 active cases in the county. Though masks are now optional, we still encourage students to wear them.

Farmers to Families Wednesday, Jan 27, 2021 Good news!! The Farmers to Families food distribution program will be returning to Yates Center on Wednesday, Jan 27, 2021. Our sincere thanks to Harvest House Food Pantry, sponsored by the Severy Nazarene Church: for including Yates Center and surrounding communities in this first round of distributions. Location: Parking lot behind Yates Center City Hall. Auto line distribution will begin at 11:00 A.M. Those picking up food boxes for themselves, or for others who are unable to attend, should remain in their vehicles. Volunteers will come to your vehicle and place the food boxes in the vehicle. NOTE: Please use extreme caution and drive slowly in the pick- up area: watch out for our volunteers. Also: please observe proper social distancing. Let’s be safe!!

COVID Report - January 22, 2021 - The Woodson School District will remain in its orange phase due to 22 active COVID cases in the county. The number of county cases is down 20 cases from last week. The school district will remain in the orange phase, to get to the yellow phase we will need fewer than 10 active cases in the county. We're getting there and lets keep up the good work!
