The 5th graders went on a field trip to the Lampe Farm and Pumpkin Patch. They made pumpkin volcanos and learned about chemical reactions!

The high school FCCLA chapter attended Fall Leadership Conference in Garnett today. They received the Active Chapter Award and presented the workshop introductions to the delegation.

Lady Cats volleyball loses the first match to a very good Neodesha team, but rallies to beat Eureka in 3 sets. Thank you seniors and Happy 18th birthday Kamdyn!
Mrs. Hanzlicek’s 3rd graders visited Mrs. Price for a skeleton science lesson learning about the functions of the cranium and jaw, just in time for Halloween.

REMINDER!! YCJH girls and boys basketball practice starts today!! Boys will practice at the elementary school and the girls will be at the high school old gym. The 7th and 8th grade boys will have a bus taking them to the elementary school. There will be activity buses running from both places. Dismissal will be approx. 5:30 PM. Any student that wishes to participate MUST have a physical form on file at the school. Any questions call the HS office and ask for Carrie.
All Title 1 parents and guardians are invited to attend for an informational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19th.
