Cross Country meeting for any junior high or high school runner AND their parents will be this Sunday, August 13th at Coach King's house. Dessert will be provided. First practice will be Monday, August 14th at 3:45pm at the High School (back door).

Yates Center High School and Junior High Football practices will start on August 14. Players will need the appropriate shoes and dress attire for that week. Here is a tentative schedule for that week.
August 14- Meet at Yates Center football field at 4:15 for equipment checkout. Practice will follow (5-8pm). We will be wearing helmets only.
August 15- Practice at Yates Center football field from 5-8pm. Helmets only.
August 16- Practice at Yates Center High School. NOT THE FOOTBALL FIELD. Practice will be 5-7pm. Students can be dropped off and picked up North of Norris Gym. We will be wearing helmets and shoulder pads only. Also, a parent meeting will be at 7:00 in the old gymnasium at Yates Center High School.
August 17- Practice resumes at the Yates Center football field. Helmets and shoulder pads only. Practice will be 4-7pm.
August 18- Practice at the Yates Center football field. Full pads. Practice will run 4-7pm.
August 19 (Saturday)- Practice at the Yates Center football field for HIGH SCHOOL only. Practice will be 8:00-10:00am. This practice will be full pads.

The magic of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is open to any Kansas child from birth to their 5th birthday. Children receive free, age-appropriate books mailed directly to their home every month. Our goal is for every Kansas child to receive high-quality books that will nurture a love for reading and continue to enrich their lives throughout school and beyond! Hello! Hope everyone had a great summer! It is time to start thinking about enrollment, which is just around the corner. This year enrollment will be online for returning students available from August 7th-11th. For new students, please plan to attend in person enrollment at the YCHS on August 10th between 9:00AM-4:00PM.
To complete enrollment please do the following:
Go to ychs.powerschool.com/public
Log into your parent portal account. If you do not know your user name or password contact your building secretary or reset it through PowerSchool. Do not create a new account.
Next, go to FORMS on the left and ENROLLMENT across the top. You will need to complete all forms for the student(s) enrolling. You will know enrollment is complete when the form check marks turn from red to green. This process is best done from a computer not a phone.
