Attention: Location for the TRL Volleyball Tournament:
The TRL Volleyball Tournament scheduled for Saturday at Jayhawk-Linn has been split into two locations. Yates Center will be playing at Uniontown High School starting at 9:00 AM. Please help spread the word! We would hate for someone to drive to Jayhawk-Linn for the tournament.
Ms. Shaffer's 6th grade Science class used microscopes to examine samples today. 7th graders made models to represent air pressure and wind.

Flag Football for 3rd and 4th grade: if you signed up to play flag football through YC Recreation the first practice will be Monday, August 30th 5:00-7:00 at the old football field.

The YCHS Volleyball squad opens their season on Saturday in the TRL Preseason Tournament at Jayhawk Linn. Please review the provided pool play format for estimated times. First matches start at 9:00 AM.
Gummy bears were sacrificed for science in Mrs. Baker's A&P class. The students were learning about directional terminology. We tried not to use the red ones!

The YCHS Kay officers planned regional conference today with the state Kay director Annie Diederich from the KSHSAA. Yates Center will be hosting the regional conference in November.
